We are fortunate to have some of the best yoga teachers in the metro area leading retreats this summer — and most of the weekend events are open to the public, so we invite you to check out the calendar and get in touch with the retreat leaders directly to inquire about joining them… if there is still space ;)

You are also welcome to rent a room at the Waterfall House during the week, when there is nothing to do but enjoy the river and unwind. We are open to work trades, so please be in touch if you think you can help us with fixing things, internet, gardening, cleaning, etc. There is a lot of behind the scenes labor that goes into maintaining the magic of the house, and we will be happy to put you to work in exchange for a reduced or free stay at the house.

Love and Waterfalls, always!

Waterfall House Community

More About the Waterfall House:

The mission of The Waterfall House is to promote a peaceful and humane understanding of the world through the preservation of indigenous wisdom, sustainable development, personal wellness studies, supporting artistic work, and fostering social and community activism. It supports projects and gatherings that further our understanding of how to live in harmony with the earth and all her people.

At the center of this mission is the waterfall itself. Bouck’s Falls, also called Kenhuragara Falls (Panther Falls) by the Mohawk Nation, is a breathtaking 100 foot cascade of pure spring water directly behind the house. The power of the waterfall is tremendous and acts as a catalyst for change and clarity for both guests and caretakers. It is, quite literally, a force of Nature that shakes things up and yet is deeply restorative at the same time.

Built on a precipice directly above the falls, The Waterfall House is a sentinel, guarding the waterfall and surrounding land, which has been a place for gatherings, celebrations, meetings, and ceremonies for over 150 years. As we move into this next very challenging time on Earth, The Waterfall House has been called into service to help promote world peace in all its aspects — whether that means the outward, activist work of social and environmental justice, or the inner visioning needed to manifest peace in one’s own life.
